Mark Penzak has been writing and creating his eclectic style of theatre since 1986. His principal education is a BA Theatre/Media from Charles Sturt University with a Masters of Design (Film/TV) from Edinburgh College of the Arts. He has studied acting with John Bolton, Phillip Gaulier and Desmond Jones. Mark has written/performed/directed in the genres of cabaret, stand-up comedy and highly visual storytelling. His plays have performed at La Mama, Edinburgh Fringe and festivals throughout Australia, Scotland, England and Ireland.
In addition to his work with Such As They Are, he has written and directed over a dozen children’s theatre productions and is currently writing a book Monsters in my Wardrobe.
