John is a Master Photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. His commercial business, Image Insight, specialises in family, executive and performer portraiture, product catalogues, and event coverage. Prior to taking up photography professionally in 2003, he was a partner in the Management Consulting Services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. John moved to Castlemaine in 2014 where he has established a studio and gallery.

John has a special interest in fine art photography and has been involved in fourteen solo and group exhibitions. He has won over 190 awards in local and international professional photographic competitions, including AIPP Victorian Landscape Photographer of the Year in 2011, and finalist in the Landscape, Travel and Illustrative categories in 2014.
