Anitra Nelson

Writer of creative non-fiction, such as play, which I also produced, Servant of the Revolution (2009, Moreland Performing Arts Centre), short film Mercury Stole My Fire (2005, which I also narrated, directed and produced and that won minor awards in US and Canada 2006) and, most recently, ‘As it happened on the day’ in Unusual Work #17 (2014, performed at its launch November 2014). Gained Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting at RMIT in 2001. I have written a non-fiction book, edited two others, and have had work published in Overland, Hecate, New Writing, Contempa, Working Papers in Art and Design, Arena (Journal and Magazine), Screening the Past and Metro Magazine.
