I live and work on a bush property in Central Victoria and am constantly inspired by my surrounding. My sense of spiritual connection to the environment permeates my artwork.

I often take everyday objects and radically transform them. My creativity is stimulated by the varied shapes and textures of found and recycled materials. I take these materials and reconstruct, reassemble and redefine their meaning.

My new works from the series Beyond Boundaries contemplates the impact of my own first fleet convict ancestry on this land and its original inhabitants. I look to the symbolism of contemporary and traditional cultural stories, in the hope of forging a new inclusive, shared identity for us all.
